Artificial Intelligence in Mental Health: An ACT-Informed Conversation

How are you addressing your clients use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for psychological issues?
How do AI tools intersect with core ACT processes such as presence, values, perspective-taking, and psychological flexibility?
What changes do we need to make in order to thrive as ACT practitioners during the AI revolution in mental health care?

This is a reminder to join us for this group discussion that invites practitioners of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to explore the evolving role of artificial intelligence (AI) in mental health practice with curiosity, nuance, and values-awareness. Together, we will consider how AI intersects with fundamental ACT processes. After a brief framing, participants will break into small groups to reflect on hopes, concerns, ethical tensions, and practical questions raised by AI in our work. Each small group will then share key insights and questions with the larger group, creating a collaborative space for dialogue and exploration.

We hope you’ll join us!
